With 48h notice, Childress jumped in at the Hollywood Bowl on 11th September 2025
Making her debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a programme including Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture, Augustus Hailstork’s Symphony no.1, and excerpts from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
She was joined by the Dance Theatre of Harlem for a multi-media concert experience which mared the end of the LA Philharmonic’s classical concert series at the iconic venue.
