In May 2024, Childress made her debut with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra at the May Festival where she led the world premiere of Julia Wolfe’s All that breathes, alongside a performance of Wolfe’s Pretty David Lang’s National Anthems, and concluded with Vaughan Williams’s Dona nobis pacem with soloists Camilla Tilling and Daniel Okulitch.
